PRETORIA - Suspended organised crime head Richard Shibiri denies he did anything wrong.
He is testifying at the Madlanga Commission into corruption in the police.
But Shibiri admits having a relationship with alleged organised crime boss, Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala.
He says that at the time, he had no idea he was being investigated or was involved in criminality.

Shibiri firmly denies Matlala gifted him R80,000, saying he took a loan of R70,000 from him.
He told the commission R20,000 was paid back in cash and the remainder was paid later via EFT.
Shibiri says the loan was to fix his son's vehicle.
He says his relationship with Matlala was never intended to compromise the integrity of the SAPS.

But Shibiri did throw other senior officers under the bus.
He says senior and former police officers opened the door to criminals.
The commission resumes on Friday. Shibiri is expected to continue with his testimony.
