REIGER PARK - More than 2,000 pupils at Reiger Park Secondary School are demanding answers over failing infrastructure and sanitation.
But as concerns mount over the conditions they’re being forced to learn in, the school’s governing body says vandalism by pupils is partly to blame.
The SGB says it has repeatedly tried to fix the broken toilets and taps, while the National Association of School Governing Bodies is questioning whether it is fulfilling its responsibilities.
According to a whistleblower, pupils are now forcing open fire hydrants in a desperate bid for water.
The National Association of School Governing Bodies is outraged.
