JOHANNESBURG - Lex Libertas will put 3,000 crosses on the National Mall in Washington DC.
The organisation's Ernst Roets said the crosses will carry the names of those murdered on farms in South Africa.
Roets said they want to put farm attacks, property rights and what they call "incitement of violence" on the US' political agenda.

Apart from the White Cross Project, the group will also be hosting a conference in Washington on 25 September.
At the conference, three victims of farm attacks will also be joining them.
"We are also sharing a documentary and encourage US lawmakers to host public hearings on South Africa," said Roets.
The US has announced new visa restrictions targeting certain foreign nationals linked to what Washington described as race-based discrimination, incitement of violence and uncompensated land seizures in South Africa.

The Trump administration has again raised allegations of government-sponsored discrimination against Afrikaners and concerns over land expropriation in South Africa.
In a statement on Tuesday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the restrictions were intended to “address the egregious actions of the Republic of South Africa”.
The statement said the US remained “gravely concerned” about racially motivated crime and what it described as government-sponsored discrimination.
