DURBAN - More than 20,000 KwaZulu-Natal SASSA beneficiaries have still not migrated to Postbank’s Black Cards.
eThekwini has the largest group of beneficiaries yet to make the switch. The deadline to migrate from the Gold Cards was on Monday.
Postbank migration sites in the province remained quiet on Monday’s deadline.

Nationally, more than 1.8 million beneficiaries have switched to the Black Card, surpassing 80 percent of the target before the deadline.
Beneficiaries who missed the deadline are urged to visit their nearest Postbank card replacement site as soon as possible to complete the migration process and restore access to their social grant payments.
Human rights advocacy group Black Sash says the number of beneficiaries seeking to migrate could rise as more people are forced to make the switch to access their grants.
