Sizekhaya vows to safeguard lottery funds

The company has again denied allegations of using political connections to win the R180 billion contract.

"We can safely say as an operator, our commitment is transparency and to do what is right for South Africans, for the benefit of South Africans," said Fundi Sithebe, Sizekhaya Holdings COO.

"And to ensure that money, because at the end of the day, the lottery is actually the biggest philanthropic engine for the country. And so we have to make sure that, you know, we safeguard that at all costs, so from a Sizekhaya perspective, an operator perspective, that is our promise."
