JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA has asked the Public Protector to reopen its Phala Phala investigation.
This follows a damning report recently declassified by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate into the alleged cover-up of the 2020 break in and theft at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s farm.

The report recommends among others disciplinary action against Major-General Wally Rhoode, the head of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Protection Unit and Constable HH Rekhoto.
The Public Protector had previously cleared the president of any wrongdoing in the controversial matter.
