JOHANNESBURG - The ANC has filed papers with the Electoral Court challenging the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) candidate nominations deadline.
The party wants to appeal the exclusion of members who missed the 28 August cutoff.
The movement has blamed a glitch on the Electoral Commission's online system for the delays.

The affected candidates fall into six municipalities across KwaZulu-Natal, the Free State and the Eastern Cape.
