CAPE TOWN - A bail ruling is expected in the case of a woman accused of kidnapping a week-old baby in Cape Town.
Sameemah Jacobs was arrested last month after the infant was found at her home in Tafelsig.
She faces charges of kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice.
During her bail hearing, the investigating officer told the court that Jacobs is not a suitable candidate for bail.
The defence argued she should be granted bail as she is the primary caregiver to three children.
It also emerged that Jacobs may be linked to two other cases.
