Case against trio linked to deadly Cleveland shooting postponed

JOHANNESBURG - The case against three men accused of the Cleveland mass shooting has been postponed to 21 August for further investigation.

The trio is accused of killing 13 people and wounding several others after opening fire indiscriminately at the Jumpers Informal Settlement.

They face multiple charges, including murder and attempted murder. 

At their last appearance, the accused denied confessing, claiming police assaulted them and forced them to sign statements.
