JOHANNESBURG - The wife of alleged underworld figure Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala, Tsakane, has been arrested.
Tsakane was arrested earlier on Tuesday by members of the Gauteng Political Killings Task Team, following the arrest of Matlala’s close associate.
She is the second suspect to be arrested in connection with an allegedly fraudulent lease agreement.
Tsakane is accused of falsifying bank statements to help Matlala secure a R95,000 lease agreement in Waterkloof.
Matlala allegedly applied for the lease using an eSwatini identity document.
Two more people are expected to be arrested in connection with the case.
