JOHANNESBURG - The South Gauteng High Court has ordered owners of Marble Towers in the Johannesburg CBD to get their building in order immediately.
The court has also instructed Goldenrod Group to stop any further construction on the building.
Container structures attached to Marble Towers have been found to violate building and fire safety regulations.

But the judge has ruled that the City cannot demolish the structures without following the correct legal process.
Goldenrod Group had approached the court on an urgent basis to prevent the City from doing so.
Now the owners have to seal off the building within 72 hours,
remove structures blocking public spaces and submit proper building plans within 20 days.
