JOHANNESBURG - The Labour Court has rejected former Ekurhuleni HR Head Linda Gxasheka's urgent bid to overturn her dismissal.
The court found there was no urgency in her application.
The ex-manager was relieved of her duties after an internal disciplinary hearing found her guilty of misconduct over ICT mismanagement, salary mismanagement, and other issues.
Accusations also emerged at the Madlanga Commission that she failed to act on disciplinary recommendations regarding suspended EMPD deputy chief Julius Mkhwanazi.
The Labour Court has referred Gxasheka to the bargaining council.
