JOHANNESBURG - Three Ekurhuleni Heads of Department have been dismissed over allegations of fraud and corruption.
Two of the high-ranking officials, head of legal services Kemi Behari and head of Human Resources Linda Gxasheka have been fired after being implicated at the Madlanga Commission.

They're accused of protecting and failing to discipline Julius Mkhwanazi.
The suspended EMPD deputy chief is accused of providing blue lights to Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala using a fraudulent memorandum of agreement.
Ekurhuleni mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza is expected to brief media on these developments.
