Independent investigator, Mike Bolhuis, joins eNCA's, Gareth Edwards, to discuss some of the contentious issues around the alleged assassination attempt.
Bolhuis indicated that such events have taken place before in South Africa, and that the individuals that are coming up in the Madlanga Commission and the Ad Hoc Committee all know each other.
"The indications, all of it, shows that it has been staged."
He claims that these people would definitely kill someone who has been identified as turning on them or they would, at least, stage something.
Bolhuis lamented that there is an unfortunate in reality in South Africa of a lack of a forensic team that is up to task.
"Unfortunately, we don't, in South Africa, have a extreme, qualified, able, forensic team. We don't have that. There is no such."
Mogotsi is already linked to alleged police corruption, Mogotsi is under scrutiny from both the Madlanga Commission and Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee.
