Domestic dispute sparks deadly bloodbath in Mitchells Plain

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police say a deadly domestic dispute fuelled Thursday's Mitchells Plain shootings. 

Five people died, and seven others were injured, as two family members, leading rival gangs, clashed. 

Law enforcement responded to five crime scenes across Tafelsig, Town Centre, Beacon Valley, and Eastridge.

Nineteen people have been taken in for questioning. 

Authorities say police deployments will remain in the area until calm is restored.
