ANC calls for cessation of hostilities in DRC
JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress is calling for the cessation of hostilities and the initiation of diplomatic negotiations to resolve the conflict in the DRC.
Since the conflict erupted late last month, at least 14 South African soldiers have lost their lives.

ANC MP Khusela Diko emphasised that South African soldiers are in the DRC as part of a peacekeeping mission.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the 14 soldiers killed in the Democratic Republic of Congo will be repatriated on Wednesday.
