CAPE TOWN - The National Assembly will debate the EFF's no-confidence motion against Speaker Thoko Didiza on Wednesday.
The motion was tabled in June over Didiza's handling of the impeachment process against President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The EFF says she failed to protect Parliament by choosing not to oppose Ramaphosa's application to halt the proceedings.

The President's interdict was later granted, temporarily suspending the public hearings.
The Red Berets say the Speaker's decision undermined Parliament's constitutional responsibilities.
The party has also objected to today's virtual sitting, arguing holding the debate online will disadvantage members.
