CAPE TOWN - Eight people have been gunned down at a tavern in Philippi East, in Cape Town.
One victim remains in hospital in a critical condition.
Police say the incident happened just after midnight and could be related to an extortion ring in the area.
Police have launched a manhunt for more than three men believed to be responsible for the shooting.
