JOHANNESBURG - Suspended Deputy EMPD Chief Julius Mkhwanazi and five others are back in the Brakpan Magistrate's Court on Thursday for their bail bid.
The six are accused of the murder of businessman Emmanuel Mbense.
IPID lead investigator Nomsa Masuku is expected to continue with her cross-examination.

The six accused have been remanded in custody as the bail proceedings continue.
At their previous appearance, the defence launched a sustained attack on the State’s case.
It challenged evidence linking each accused to Mbense’s murder and questioned the State’s reliance on the common-purpose doctrine.
