Enough is enough: Kempton Park residents march over killings

JOHANNESBURG - Residents in Kempton Park and surrounding communities are taking to the streets on Thursday, demanding urgent action following the deaths of women in the area.

The march follows the discovery of the bodies of eight women over a two-month period, raising growing concerns about the safety of women and children in the community.

Residents say they are deeply concerned about the threat facing women and children and are calling on authorities to do more to protect them.

Protesters are marching from the Kempton Park Civic Centre to the local police station, where they are expected to call for stronger action, increased police visibility and greater accountability from law enforcement authorities.
