DURBAN - National Coloured Congress leader Fadiel Adams is expected to appear in the Pinetown Magistrate's court on Thursday.
He was arrested in Cape Town on Tuesday.
Adams faces charges of defeating the ends of justice and fraud. The charges relate to his alleged interference in the Sindiso Magaqa murder probe.

Athlenda Mathe, police spokesperson confirmed that Adams arrived in KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday night, where he was formally charged with fraud and defeating or obstructing the course of justice.
On Wednesday, police refused to divulge where Adams was being detained. Mathe said the decision was taken to protect the MP and the integrity of the entire process.
