PRETORIA - Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) investigators Dylan Perumal, Suneel Bellochun, and Brian Padayachee have been suspended pending disciplinary proceedings against them.
Justice Minister Mmamoloko Kubyi confirmed the suspensions during a media briefing on Thursday afternoon.
The briefing was to provide clarity on key developments with IDAC and ensure stability within the Directorate while processes to address the leadership vacancy are underway.

Bellochun was accused of extorting a Pakistani businessman in the Eastern Cape
Padayachee was accused of leaking an ongoing criminal docket to senior Crime Intelligence officer Major-General Feroz Khan.
Perumal, on the other hand, faces allegations of falsifying witness statements
