The group appeared before the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Friday, where the charges were formally withdrawn.
"I entered the public service with the belief that my skills and experience would contribute to nation-building," she said.
"Instead I found myself being arrested, prosecuted and portrayed in a manner that I maintain does not resonate with me," she added.
Mokwele said that while the work had not stopped, she was able to return to work; her character and abilities came into doubt when executing her duties.
She said the experience has not only been emotional, but has also affected her psychologically as well.

"Today the unconditional withdrawal brings me relief," she said.
Mokwele said young people should not be discouraged by her ordeal and consider careers in government.
She would not be drawn into what her next move would be, but is considering her legal options moving forward.
Mokwele has also expressed gratitude to KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi for his bravery in exposing everything that was happening.
