JOHANNESBURG - The High Court is set to deliver judgment in the trial of Sithembiso Mdlalose for the 2023 Usindiso Building fire in the Johannesburg CBD.
Mdlalose has been facing 76 counts of murder and 12 counts of attempted murder.
The State alleges that he started the fire to conceal an assault on another resident,
resulting in the death of 76 victims.
He admitted starting the fire during a Gauteng Commission of Inquiry but later denied his confession.
