PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission heard that Vusumuzi "Cat" Matlala was sending money to suspended Deputy EMPD chief Julius Mkhwanazi.
It is believed the payments were for favours Mkhwanazi did for Matlala.
It also heard how Medicare24 CEO Mike van Wyk sent Mkhwanazi a video of himself with wads of cash.
Van Wyk was set to testify about a cancelled R360-million SAPS tender and ties to influential figures.
But his appearance was postponed after his legal team claimed he was medically unfit to testify.
