JOHANNESBURG - Suspended Deputy EMPD Chief Julius Mkhwanazi and his four co-accused are back at the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court.
They are accused of killing Emmanuel Mbense and covering up the murder.
Mbense was killed at his Brakpan home in April 2022, and his body was later dumped in a dam.
That revelation was made by slain Madlanga Commission Witness D, Marius 'Vlam' van der Merwe.
His family says they have been waiting for justice to be served.
Mkhwanazi is already out on bail in three separate cases involving fraud, corruption, and precious stones theft.
