JOHANNESBURG- Kelebogile Thepa has been reinstated as the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality Police Department (EMPD) spokesperson.
Thepa appeared before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry probes into allegations of corruption in the criminal justice system.

She told the commission that the EMPD's media unit incurred the wrath of city management after dealing with Matlala Blue Light inquiries transparently.
Her testimony linked to the Blue Light scandal implicated suspended Ekurhuleni Deputy Police Chief, Julius Mkhwanazi in misconduct.
