PRETORIA - Alleged underworld figure Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala returns to the stand at the Madlanga Commission on Tuesday.
Matlala resumed his testimony on Monday after proceedings were delayed by his legal team.
During his testimony, the tender don denied having a close relationship with suspended deputy police commissioner General Shadrack Sibiya.
He told the Commission that Sibiya was not his friend, but simply “someone that I knew”.
He also insisted that he had no personal or professional relationship with alleged Big 5 Cartel member Ignatius Mothakathi.
