LIVESTREAM | Madlanga Commission continues

PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission is expected to resume hearing testimony from former Hawks head Godfrey Lebeya on Tuesday.

Lebeya began his testimony last week, where he denied knowing alleged Big Five cartel member Katiso “KT” Molefe.

He confirmed, however, that he sent Hawks officers to verify Molefe’s arrest in December 2024 after receiving a call from influencer Malcolm X.

The commission is expected to question Lebeya further about his relationship with KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, as well as a phone call he received from forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan.

Meanwhile, lawyers representing suspended Crime Intelligence boss Feroz Khan are expected to file an application seeking a postponement to prevent their client from appearing before the commission on Tuesday.
