PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission will deal with the matter of suspended deputy Crime Intelligence head Feroz Khan as the first item on Wednesday's agenda.
It follows Sunday's shooting that left Khan in hospital days before his scheduled testimony.
His lawyers say the senior officer raised concerns about his safety and asked for permission to testify in-camera.
The Commission says it will confirm the next witness once the Khan matter has been addressed.
It remains unclear when he will be able to give evidence.
Acting National Police Commissioner Puleng Dimpane said a high-level investigation is underway into the shooting of Khan.
