PRETORIA - The Madlanga Commission interim report is being submitted to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
But it will be kept from public view.
The inquiry has been holding hearings into claims of corruption and interference in the criminal justice system.
The president established the probe after KwaZulu-Natal top cop Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi's explosive allegations.
He then placed Police Minister Senzo Mchunu on leave.
Witnesses have implicated former and current senior police officials and politicians in criminal activities.
The final report will be made public.
