JOHANNESBURG - The Justice Department will give details on delays to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
The Inquiry into political interference in the police announced hearings will not begin on 1 September.
The commission says the setback is due to the Justice Department not procuring vital infrastructure in time.

The commission says it can't start hearings next week and a new date will be set.
Chairperson Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga made it clear that this is not of the commission's doing.
He is assuring South Africans that the commission is continuing its work.
