PRETORIA - The next witness at the Madlanga Commission is expected to testify remotely over the next two days, but their identity will remain protected.
The witness will relay their testimony through someone else to safeguard their identity.

This move underscores the sensitivity of the evidence to be presented, and the risk involved.
Commission spokesperson Jeremy Michaels said the intermediary is an extra safety measure.
"It is an extreme measure, but it's aimed at protecting the identity of the witness," Michaels said.
