Malusi Gigaba, former Transnet execs back in court for corruption case

JOHANNESBURG - Former Public Enterprises Minister Malusi Gigaba and former Transnet executives are back in Court.

Gigaba and four co-accused are still running through pre-trial proceedings at the High Court in Johannesburg.

They are charged with corruption in the multi-billion-rand locomotive procurement deal.

The matter returns as the State continues reviewing the case docket.

During the previous appearance, no plea was entered, and no evidence was presented.
