JOHANNESBURG - Former cabinet minister Malusi Gigaba maintains his innocence.
He made a brief appearance in court alongside five others charged in a Transnet corruption case.

The state alleges that he accepted and received undisclosed amounts of cash from members of the Gupta family when he was Public Enterprises Minister.
He was charged with corruption in November last year.
