Mashatile to visit Bronkhorstspruit amid water contamination crisis

JOHANNESBURG - Deputy President Paul Mashatile is expected to visit Bronkhorstspruit following a water contamination crisis that has left hundreds of people ill.

The incident comes as the City of Tshwane continues to grapple with water supply challenges, including contamination concerns and water restrictions.

The municipality has admitted that residents were not warned that the water supplied to them was untreated, raising concerns about public safety and communication during the crisis.
