JOHANNESBURG - There is no evidence that Eastern Cape Judge President Selby Mbenenge sent sexually explicit images.
That's the testimony of an expert at the Judicial Tribunal into allegations of gross misconduct.
Junior clerk Andiswa Mengo alleges the judge made unwanted sexual advances between 2021 and 2022.
She says most of these were done via WhatsApp messages.
But, analyst Francois Moller says messages had been deleted from both devices. He says he could find no evidence that explicit images were sent.
Mengo previously accused police of deleting messages and images from her device.
The inquiry continues with more experts expected to testify.
