JOHANNESBURG - Suspended Deputy EMPD Chief Julius Mkhwanazi and his co-accused are back in the Brakpan Magistrate's Court for their bail application.
They are accused of killing Emmanuel Mbense and covering up the murder in 2022.
Mbense was killed at his Brakpan home, and his body dumped in a dam near Nigel.

Evidence related to the matter surfaced when Marius van der Merwe, referred to as "Witness D", testified at the Madlanga Commission.
Mkhwanazi is already out on bail in three separate cases.
