Michael Sandlana, co-accused back in the dock

PRETORIA - Disgraced church leader Michael Sandlana and his co-accused are back at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court.

The four face several counts of corruption.

It’s alleged the International Pentecostal Holiness Church leader paid a R2.4-million bribe to his now co-accused, Judge Portia Phahlane.

Sandlana allegedly wanted the Judge to rule in his favour in the church’s succession battle.

He has been in custody since last November, while Phahlane is out on bail.
