JOHANNESBURG - The uMkhonto weSizwe Party has suspended its deputy president and parliamentary leader, John Hlophe.
He is suspended from both his leadership roles with immediate effect, pending an investigation into his conduct.

The decision follows Hlophe's removal of parliamentary chief whip Colleen Makhubele in favour of Des Van Rooyen.
The MK Party faces ongoing internal disputes over leadership and direction.
