JOHANNESBURG - Suspended deputy Ekurhuleni Metro Police chief, Julius Mkhwanazi and his City Manager co-accused Kagiso Lerutla are back in the Boksburg Magistrate's Court.
The pair returns after being freed on R30,000 bail each two weeks ago.
Mkhwanazi and Lerutla stand accused of fraud, corruption and defeating the ends of justice.
The prosecution alleges that Lerutla paid Mkhwanazi's driver R200,000 to impersonate him in court.

Mkhwanazi allegedly pocketed another R200,000 for the favour.
In this 2019 case, Lerutla was supposed to answer to a traffic violation,
but opted instead to attend a job interview.
