POLOKWANE - Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi has extended his condolences to a Limpopo family following a fatal collision over the weekend.
Police have confirmed the Motsoaledi, his driver and close protection officer remained at the scene until emergency services arrived.
Two culpable homicide cases are now under investigation, with the Independent Police Investigative Directorate taking over the probe because the driver involved is an SAPS member.

The state vehicle was being driven by a member of Protection Security Services on the N1 near Bela-Bela in Limpopo.
The investigation has revealed that a woman and her two children were attempting to cross the road when they were struck by the minister’s vehicle.
The mother and one of the children later died from their injuries.
