MPs met on Monday to discuss O’Sullivan’s abrupt exit and incomplete testimony before the committee last Thursday.

In an exclusive interview with eNCA on Friday, O’Sullivan defended his decision saying he had a plane to catch.

According to O'Sullivan, it had been agreed that he would appear before the committee until 1pm as he needed to catch a 3.15pm flight to Johannesburg.

Questions have also been raised about his claimed R90,000 expenses and luxury hotel stays.
