JOHANNESBURG - National Prosecuting Authority Legal Affairs Head, Mthunzi Mhaga, is taking the stand at the TRC cases inquiry.
He is expected to speak about problems he faces while prosecuting his first TRC case.

This was the attempted murder of MK member, Sthembele Zokhwe, by members of the Security Branch.

He will also look at the Young Communist League's attempts to reopen investigations into the murder of Chris Hani, the Highgate Hotel attack, as well as the APLA attack on Willowvale Police Station.

His evidence comes after Shamila Batohi admitted political interference before her tenure as NPA boss.
