JOHANNESBURG - Police have discovered the body of another woman in Dawn Park, Ekurhuleni.
The woman’s body was found half-naked and wrapped in a sheet on the side of the road on Thursday morning.
Investigators are working to establish her identity and circumstances surrounding her death.
The discovery follows the deaths of eight other women whose bodies were found across Ekurhuleni over the past two months.

Among the victims is jogger Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo, who disappeared last week after leaving her home for an afternoon run. The 38-year-old’s body was found on Saturday, 12 September.
The South African Police Service has assembled a multidisciplinary team to investigate the deaths.
Residents in the area are calling on the government to act urgently to find those responsible.
In the meantime, they are demanding increased police patrols in their communities.
“The government must also do something. We are so very scared. Do we have any indication who this woman could be? Does anyone know her? We don’t know because they didn’t allow us to see her.”

Meanwhile, acting Gauteng police commissioner Fred Kekana has urged anyone with information to come forward.
“Those who might have seen something, those who might know something, or those who suspect something with regard to this incident and other incidents, come forward to the police and give us information,” Kekana said.
