JOHANNESBURG - The Western Cape High Court has reserved judgment in President Ramaphosa's application to suspend the work of the Impeachment Committee.
Judge André Le Grange is expected to deliver his ruling by the end of next week.
The Impeachment Committee chairperson, Makashule Gana, said they will continue with their work until ordered otherwise.

"We do have a meeting scheduled for Wednesday. That meeting continues. We have long said as the committee that until such time as the competent court can stop or indicate that we must not proceed, we'll proceed," he said.
Gana said what is encouraging, at least for him as a chairperson, is that the final inputs by the President's Council indicate that the work of the committee so far is the preparatory work.
"So, the appointment of the evidence leaders, the preparation of the witnesses, the finalisation of the terms of reference and all the work, they are not seeking to interpret. But in any case, we're not going to stop until the court has made a determination. But the work continues," he added.
