Pair to appear in court over alleged R15m Killarney gem theft

JOHANNESBURG - Two suspects are expected to appear in the Johannesburg magistrate's court on Monday.

They are linked to the theft of precious stones worth nearly R15-million from a Killarney home in 2023.

One suspect was arrested on Friday, while the second handed himself over to the police on Sunday.

It's alleged that law enforcement officers and a businessman conducted a fake raid on the apartment.
