Palestinian refugees housed in Joburg hotel

JOHANNESBURG - After being stranded on board a plane for 13 hours at OR Tambo International Airport, 130 Palestinian refugees were allowed to enter South Africa.

The 130 Palestinian refugees are being housed in a Johannesburg hotel, for now.

The Border Management Authority initially refused to accept them because of missing exit stamps on their passports.

Gift of the Givers led the efforts to get them off the plane and into the country.
