PRETORIA - The chairperson of Parliament's Ad Hoc committee tasked with investigating allegations of corruption and political meddling in the South African Police Service and judiciary, Soviet Lekganyane, says they expect Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala to testify on Wednesday.

Earlier on, Matlala's lawyers said that they are worried about his mental state.

Matlala is meant to testify before the parliamentary committee, sitting at Kgosi Mampuru Prison.

His lawyers want to postpone that testimony.

However, the committee chairperson says it's all systems go from their side.
