CAPE TOWN - Parliament’s Police Portfolio Committee Chairperson Ian Cameron is calling for the suspension of Major-General Feroz Khan.
Cameron says officers alleged to have broken the law must be suspended to protect the integrity of ongoing investigations.
Khan’s name continues to feature in testimony at the Madlanga Commission.

He is accused of interfering in police investigations.
Khan has also been charged with contravening the Precious Metals Act and defeating the ends of justice over a separate matter.
Cameron says that accountability must remain the standard for every police officer, regardless of their position or seniority.
